Dreams Of Lumina is the most ambitious interactive world currently in development at Viotus. It is an online 3D MMORPG built around exploration, shared presence and a universe designed to evolve over time.
A world before a feature list
We begin with the feeling of inhabiting a coherent place. Geography, atmosphere, progression and social systems must appear to belong to the same world rather than functioning as isolated mechanics.
That principle makes development slower and more demanding, but it also gives every technical decision a clear artistic purpose.
AI as part of the world system
Advanced AI is being explored as infrastructure for richer behaviour, more responsive systems and production workflows that allow a small independent team to work with greater range.
Human direction remains central. The technology is valuable when it strengthens authorship, consistency and the player experience—not when it replaces intention.
A long development horizon
Dreams Of Lumina will take time. Alongside it, Viotus is developing smaller products that can arrive earlier and test ideas, tools and production methods useful to the wider studio.
