Calculator is now conceived as a focused desktop program rather than a mobile application. The new direction gives financial calculations more space, better keyboard-driven interaction and a clearer place inside professional workflows. It will be available in Free, Premium and Deluxe editions, with progressively broader capabilities while preserving the same legible calculation model.
One program across three platforms
The target is a consistent product for macOS, Windows and Linux. Platform differences will be respected without fragmenting the core experience or calculation model.
What Calculator will include
Calculator is being built as a modular financial workspace rather than a single expression field. Its planned toolkit covers arithmetic and percentages, compound interest, loans and mortgages, inflation, time value of money, financial goals and financial-freedom planning.
The wider model catalogue is designed to examine listed shares, real estate, bonds, commodities, liabilities, return on investment, private debt, private businesses, ETFs and funds, collectibles, cash and savings, and retirement. Users will be able to organise calculations in persistent workspaces, connect compatible results, revisit execution history and import or export versioned workspaces.
Inputs, outputs, warnings and calculation traces are kept together so a result can be reviewed instead of treated as an unexplained number. Work is designed to remain private on the device through local persistence, with selected account and cross-product capabilities added through explicit Viotus integrations when they become available.
Free, Premium and Deluxe
The Free edition will provide the essential calculation experience and a practical set of core tools, giving anyone a useful way to create, run and review financial calculations.
Premium will expand that foundation with more advanced modules, higher working capacity, richer workflow tools and connected services for people who use Calculator more frequently. It is planned as the ongoing subscription tier.
Deluxe will be the broadest permanent edition: the complete professional local toolkit, the highest non-service limits and the most capable workspace experience available without relying on a continuing Premium subscription. Online or continuously operated services may still require an eligible account or service plan. The exact module allocation and numerical limits for each edition will be published before release.
Clarity before density
Financial software often equates capability with crowded interfaces. Calculator takes the opposite approach: make inputs, assumptions and results legible, then reveal additional depth when it is useful.
Availability
The program is still in development and is not available for download. Official builds and platform requirements will be published through the Viotus download channel when they are ready.
